2024-08-30

Careful consideration of technology, models, and legal implications like GDPR is essential before diving into AI implementation.
AI Ready Model

Where to start?

As mentioned in previous blog post, there are many use cases for implementing AI, but where to start and which use case to prioritize? Also the emergence of AI tech has actually brought a number of different models and solutions. Many are cloud based and requires your organisation to share your data with the model to get the results you are looking for.

For many organisations this might be a problem. How to go about in these cases? Which technology and models can be utilised for organisations that are careful with their data? Also there are requirements related to regulations, GDPR and other legal implications. These are all questions and insights one has to earn before moving into the implementation of AI technology.

AI assessment

This is why the ”Redpill Linpro AI Ready Model” starts with an ”Insights” phase. This phase is intended to increase the organisations knowledge of AI technology, the different models available and how these can be utilised for applicable use cases. Redpill Linpro can assist in this phase with an ”AI Assessment” to introduce the organisation to AI.

Such an assessment includes a generic introduction to AI, an exploration of different models including their pro’s and con’s, a look into which considerations you need to make and identify the pre-requisites for your organisations ability to utilise AI technology.

Extended AI knowledge

The purpose of this ”Insights” phase is to extend the organisations knowledge of AI in order to define which AI tech and models that can be utilised for identified use cases. During this phase it is beneficial to contract experienced external knowledge to gain these insights as quickly as possible.

Choosing the right resource to assist with these insights, ensures that the AI initiative gets off to a good start. Once you gain the necessary insights into what different AI tech can bring, you and your team can start to discuss how the models and tech can be utilised to create business value in your own organisation. With the gained insights, your team can start to prepare for the next phase in the implementation process and decide on which use cases and which tech/models to lab upon.

Also the Insights phase should give you information and knowledge upon what happens with the data you share, what infrastructure you will require, which models to use and their implications or benefits. The Insights phase is really about making sure that you have all the necessary information and knowledge to kick start your AI initiative and to make sure that you start in the right direction, avoiding early mistakes that will be costly further down the line.
